The Jussie Smollett incident demonstrates clearly why it is absolutely imperative for people in leadership positions to be persons who openly profess a belief in God and in the system of eternal rewards and punishment.

It appears Mr. Smollett staged the entire episode for any, or all of a variety of nefarious reasons.

But the fact that these types of false accusations of acts of hatred and bigotry against President Trump, his supporters and Conservatives are on the rise are not surprisingly a natural consequence of a growing godless evolutionary worldview typical among Leftists and Progressives.

It appears that Jussie Smollet may have believed he was justified in lying and making false accusations for what he believed was a greater good. The Bible records a time in the history of Israel when there was no king and everyone did what he saw fit in his own eyes. Is that where we are in this nation?

This is precisely why in the wisdom of our founders almost every one of the original thirteen colonies stipulated in their charters that in order for a person to assume a position of public trust he had to affirm a belief in God and in the system of eternal rewards and punishments. Their thinking was that in man’s natural state he would act in ways motivated by self-interest at the cost of the benefit to others. They believed that only an individual who believed there was a God who was watching his every move could actually be trusted with public affairs.

If an individual has no belief in the God of the Bible, who is the source of our inalienable rights, and who alone defines morality, he becomes his own god and can write his own rules, and thus any deception or lie can be justified for the greater good.

That’s why we must choose persons in leadership positions who publicly acknowledge a personal belief in the God of the Bible and in the standard of morality set in Scripture. It was President Lincoln who told us that

“…it is the duty of nations as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God,… and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.”

More recently, President Ronal Reagan told us that

Without God, there is no virtue, because there’s no prompting of the conscience…Without God, there is a coarsening of the society. And without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”

So let us learn from the Smollet incident, and the other manufactured crimes aimed at Conservatives, and let us all—left and right—acknowledge, personally and publicly, that we are in fact, “One Nation Under God.” Only then will we be able to truly become “a more perfect union,” and pass on to our children the same liberty, peace and prosperity that our parents passed on to us.

How do we answer the question, “Why should I be pro-life and not pro-choice”

First of all, let’s get the language straight. It’s not between being pro-life and pro-choice, for if that were the case Christians would be the most pro-choice of all, wanting everyone to have the right to choose life, especially the baby in the womb.

The real debate is between being pro-life and pro-abortion.

We are pro-life because abortion is the taking of a life given by God.

And yes, it is a life created at the moment of conception which grows and develops during nine months of pregnancy. During that entire time it is fully human with a full complement of DNA.

The Bible clearly tells us that it is a baby in the womb, not a blob of fetal tissue. There are several Old Testament references to a baby in the womb, and in the New Testament we read about how the baby leaped in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary came to visit.

The more science advances the more it proves that it is a live person in the womb. That’s why today’s younger generation is becoming more pro-life. Science validates our cause.

It’s not part of the woman’s body, but a body all its own with its own nervous system and circulatory system. The baby might even have a different blood type than the Mom. The baby is simply residing and growing in the women’s body. If a friend comes to my home for a visit I do not have the right to dismember them just because they’re in my home. So it is with a baby in the womb.

Legally, we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights that among them are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness–progressive rights.

Women have no more a right to abort their own babies as southern plantation owners had the right to own their own slaves. Abortion is the national sin of this age in the same way slavery was the national sin of prior generations.

Now we must become the resistance against the diabolical agenda of the Cuomo regime in Albany.

On behalf of the little ones who cannot defend themselves we must pledge today even our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor to protect the lives of the unborn, or we will no doubt pay the price for our national sin by national calamity of some kind. (Prov. 24:11-12).

We paid for the sin of slavery with the Civil War because millions people created in the image of God were enslaved by others. To date over 60 million children have been murdered, and women have been heart-broken over the loss of what they knew was a living child while an evil society told them it was OK to abort their child.

God have mercy on those Moms, God have mercy on The U.S.

Cuomo wants to amend the NY Constitution to make abortion a fundamental right.

We must begin work toward a Human Life Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Just because it’s legal, doesn’t make it right. Slavery was once legal. It was never right. Abortion may be legal, but it will never be right.

Our founding fathers taught us that civil law must be consistent with divine law.

We must double our efforts to stand up for the least of these, for those who can’t defend themselves.

We must reach out to Moms who are considering abortion and those who have been hurt by abortion, to fathers who have been hurt by abortion….yes, it hurts men also. Everyone is hurt when a life is taken.

So be informed, be educated on the issues and be willing to speak up, to be the light in the darkness.

It’s up to us to defend the little ones.  English Statesman Edmund Burke told us that, “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” Let it never be said of us.

That is why we must be pro-life and not pro-abortion.

Why is it that when President Obama was separating children from parents at the border it was perfectly fine, but when Donald Trump does the very same, it’s a national scandal? Why is it that when President Trump issues and executive order to prevent families from being separated—what the Democrats were whining about—now, it’s not good enough because families are detained together? Will Trump’s actions ever be enough for Democrats?  No.  Why?  It’s because what Democrats really want goes far beyond open borders. It’s about power. The quest for power is one of the fundamental forces driving human nature. That’s why to Democrats the policies enacted are not as important as who it is that is enacting them. If it’s not them, it’s to be rejected, because they dare not accede to someone else’s claim to power.

How do Democrats seek to gain power? By growing the plantation. It’s no different than it was at the time of the writing of our Constitution. There is nothing new under the sun. During America’s formative years the Southern Democrat plantation owners measured their power by the number of slaves they owned. In fact, that was the very reason slaves were counted as three fifths of a person, not because they were thought to be three fifths of a person, but simply because if they were fully counted for congressional representation the South would have had much higher pro-slavery representation in the Congress. The three-fifths clause was actually and anti-slavery provision, but of course, you’ll never hear that from the “progressive” establishment.

The Democrats have not changed their tactics. But, now they need more than African-Americans on the plantation. They need to bring in a new wave of people they can register as Democrats to win more elections to insure their hold on power. They will use anyone, even innocent children, to advance their cause. The ends justifies the means in their book.  Nothing is wrong that serves to undermine and remove Donald Trump from his position of power in their book.  Grow the plantation. Expand federal benefits. Keep them dependent on us, and we’ll be assured to remain in power over them. It’s a demonic strategy at its core, and must be defeated by freedom-loving Americans of every political persuasion. Uninformed Democrats must realize who it is that is pulling their strings and must throw off the control, and think for themselves, or we will cease to be One Nation Under God, and instead become one big plantation under one big plantation owner. God forbid!

“Where the righteous rule the people rejoice; when the wicked are in power the people groan.”—Proverbs 29:2

One year ago, Donald J. Trump was inaugurated into office and took his position as the 45th President of the United States.  In a previous article I explained how Trump was a type of a King Cyrus who was called by God to lead the people of Israel to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, though he was not himself a believer. It has always been in God’s nature to select the most unlikely people to advance His purposes, as He did throughout the Bible and throughout American history.

For the past 60 years America has been slowly moving away from her dependency upon God. As a result we have seen a steady decline in the well-being of our society.  The Scriptures are true when they tell us, “Blessed is the nation whose god is the Lord.”—Psalm 33:12. The opposite would then follow: “Cursed is the nation whose god is not the Lord. That is the path we were on until Donald J. Trump took office and declared boldly, “In this nation we don’t worship government; we worship God!” This reminds us of another “unlikely” fellow who became one of our greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln who told us,

“It is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependency upon the overruling power of God… and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.”

God was looking for a man who would boldly declare this truth once again, and he found it in a brash and politically incorrect Donald J. Trump. With his election the nation began a turnaround from the godless direction we were on to one that, once again, will establish that God is the One in whom we place our trust, and it will be His rules for love and order that we will pursue in order to continue to receive His grace and favor for a peaceful and prosperous nation.

However, the powers of Satan will not surrender without a fight, and they have been working overtime to bring down this leader who would dare to proclaim God’s sovereignty over our land. In recent days, it’s become more apparent of the evil we’ve been spared from as news reports are revealing the widespread corruption that was operating at the very top of our federal government agencies intent on preserving their grip of control over our nation. It’s now clear that had Hillary Clinton won the election America would have been under the control of what would have resembled a Soviet style criminal syndicate regime, rather than a government “of the people.”  Thank God for His mercy!

Lance Wallnau, a Christian leader and prophetic voice has likened Trump to a “wrecking ball” that was sent to demolish the works of Satan being established in government, what we now know as “The Deep State.”

Though God raised up a man he could use, our salvation will never be determined by the one in the White House. It will be up to the Church to determine whether this President will be successful in bringing this nation back to God.  There is no assurance. If the Church is not praying like it all depends on God and working like it all depends on us, we may simply be delaying the Day of America’s judgment for yet a little while longer. If the Church rises up out of its complacency we will see the revival and reformation we are all longing for. The promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 is still true:

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The Spiritual state of the Union is good, as we have been loosed from the grip of Satan in our national leadership, and have begun on a road back to becoming once again, One Nation Under God. It will now be up to the people of God to fulfill their duty to their nation as part of their duty to God to be bold and courageous in proclaiming in every area of American life that God is the One in whom we place our trust.  This is no time for “summer soldiers or sunshine patriots.” This is the time to be in prayer for our leaders, to express our faith publicly and to pursue a life of love and holiness as an example to others who need to know the love of God.

We have been singing “God Bless America” long enough. It’s time we turn it around and begin singing—and living a life that says, “America, bless God!
